Add an M3U playlist.

You need a playlist link (or file) that you are authorized to use. IPTVIQ does not supply one.

  1. Open IPTVIQ on the Apple TV. A new install has an empty library. Choose Use your phone to show a QR code (or Type on this Apple TV to enter it with the remote).
  2. Scan the QR code with your phone's camera and open the page. Pick M3U playlist.
  3. Enter the playlist link, or choose a playlist file from your phone or computer. Add an XMLTV guide link only if your provider gave you one.
  4. Send it. The details are encrypted in your phone's browser before they leave it. The Apple TV shows what you are about to add: confirm on the TV.
  5. Wait for the import. The Apple TV loads Live, Movies and Series one after another. Your phone shows the real outcome: ready, partly loaded, failed, or “continue on your Apple TV” when the TV could not report.

A playlist can contain only live channels; then Movies and Series stay empty. That is a property of the playlist, not an error.
