IPTVIQPrivacy Policy
IPTVIQ is developed by Tech Land Yazılım ve Bilişim Limited Şirketi, a company registered in Türkiye. This page explains what data IPTVIQ handles, and — just as importantly — what it doesn't.
What IPTVIQ is
IPTVIQ is a native macOS media player. It does not include, sell, host, or provide access to any TV channel, subscription, or video content. You connect it to IPTV sources you already have — an Xtream Codes account, an M3U/M3U8 playlist, an XMLTV guide, a direct stream URL, or a Stalker/MAG/Ministra portal.
What data IPTVIQ stores, and where
Everything IPTVIQ stores — your source credentials, playlists, program guide data, profiles, favorites, watch history, and any proxy credentials — is stored only on your own Mac, in a local database and the macOS Keychain. We do not operate a server that receives or stores this data. Nothing you configure or watch is transmitted to us.
Network connections
The only network connections IPTVIQ makes are to the IPTV source(s) and, if you configure one, the proxy you specify. IPTVIQ does not phone home to any server we operate, does not check in for licensing or usage reporting, and does not fetch remote configuration or advertising.
Analytics, tracking, and crash reporting
IPTVIQ does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDK — verified directly against the app's build dependencies, not assumed. If you use macOS's own built-in diagnostics-sharing option, or the App Store's own platform analytics, those are Apple's features, governed by Apple's own disclosures, not something IPTVIQ adds or receives.
Children's privacy
IPTVIQ includes an optional, entirely local Kids-profile feature that restricts what content is visible under a given local profile. This feature operates entirely on your device; it does not collect data about children or anyone else.
Data you should never share with us
If you contact support, please never include your IPTV username, password, or a URL containing embedded credentials — we have no ability to use them and no need to see them.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if IPTVIQ's data practices change — for example, if a future version adds an optional cloud-sync feature — and will describe any such change accurately.
